Teaching Vacancies is seeking an assistant caretaker for a welcoming primary school just north of Lincoln. You will help keep the building safe, clean, and attractive, ensuring security and ready spaces for children and staff each day.

This hands-on role requires practical skills, good organisation, and teamwork. You will follow school standards, report issues, and support safeguarding commitments to protect children, staff, and visitors in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in school caretaking or cleaning preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean school environment.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to safeguarding children.

Responsabilités

• Be responsible for cleaning of a specified area according to current standards.
• Store cleaning equipment in a safe place.
• Report problems relating to cleaning equipment/materials to supervisor.
• Carry out caretaking duties as directed by Headteacher/School Business Manager/Site Manager (e.g., minor repairs to fabric or equipment).
