Job summary

Reading School's Estates Team is seeking a Site Controller to keep the premises safe, secure and well maintained. The role covers day-to-day upkeep of grounds, teaching areas and residential property, and acts as the out-of-hours contact.

This is a full-time, year-round post on a split shift, Monday to Friday. Applications require a personal statement and no visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in buildings maintenance.
• Experience of managing site projects.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance of the school estate, including grounds, teaching areas and residential property.
• Act as key-holder and, with other team members, be responsible for site security.
• Act as point of contact for out-of-hours emergencies.
• Proactively identify maintenance requirements and ensure the site is operationally safe.
• Ensure essential works are undertaken.
