Job summary

Reading School in Reading, UK, seeks a reliable Site Controller to maintain the school estate, ensuring safety, security and a well‑maintained site for students. The role is full-time, 37 hours, split shift, year-round, working Mon–Fri.

You will collaborate with the Estates Team to keep facilities sound and compliant. This role requires strong communication, hands-on maintenance experience and a pragmatic, solution‑led approach, including heating/plumbing/electrical or fire and security system

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school estate day-to-day, including grounds and teaching areas.
• Act as key-holder and support security of the site.
• Ensure essential works are undertaken.
• Be point of contact for out-of-hours emergencies.
• Identify maintenance needs and keep the site safely operational.
