Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a Cover Coordinator for Barnet School, starting ASAP until Summer 2027. The role involves managing daily school cover, deploying cover supervisors, supply teachers and agency staff, and overseeing duty rotas to safeguard pupils, visitors and staff.

Additionally, you will handle administrative duties, inputting and extracting statistics, and communicating to high standards to meet deadlines. Experience with SIMS/NOVA T and SCR is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience of coordinating school cover on a daily basis.
• Experience deploying cover supervisors, supply teachers and agency staff.
• Ability to manage duty rotas for school breaks and lunch.

Responsibilities

• Deploy cover staff to ensure lessons are covered throughout the school day.
• Manage recruitment process for cover supervisors, supply staff and agency staff.
• Maintain sessional records in the SCR (Single Central Record) and report concerns to HR.
• Organise cover using SIMS/NOVA T and sign off agency invoices and timesheets.
• Maintain a teaching cover list and source new staff to ensure sufficient staffing.
