Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.
• Accreditation with a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP).
• Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in supervising other counselling professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students addressing academic, emotional and social challenges.
• Offer professional supervision to fellow staff.
• Design and implement counselling programs to promote student well-being.
• Respond promptly to student crises in collaboration with staff and external agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals to support students.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in line with ethical guidelines and school policies.
