North Yorkshire Council is recruiting a Cook for Crakehall School in Bedale. The role is term-time only, 27.5 hours weekly, with duties covering meal preparation, cooking, serving, and dining hall management.

Expect responsibilities such as staff supervision, food ordering and stock checks, with a focus on healthy, locally sourced meals. Working hours run from 8:30 to 14:00, with weekend none, and fixed annual leave entitlement.

Formación

• Experience in preparing and cooking meals in a school or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations.
