Job summary

Fylingdales School is recruiting a Cook to join the facilities management catering team. This role operates 23.75 hours per week during term time, with no weekend work.

You will prepare, cook and serve meals to students and staff, set up and clear the dining hall, and assist with stock and administration, on-site in Whitby. The position pays £13.92 per hour, with annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement, and includes access to a generous local government pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking and serving meals in a school or similar setting.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and manage stock.
• Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene.
