Job summary

Brockholes Wood Primary School is seeking a Peripatetic Mobile Cook / Catering Assistant to prepare and serve healthy meals across Fylde Coast schools. The role is part time, term-time only, with 16.25 hours weekly on a permanent, variable schedule.

You will work as part of a team, move dining furniture, help with food preparation, and ensure pupils have a safe, positive lunchtime experience, under Lancashire County Council guidance.

Qualifications

• Good customer service and communication are essential.
• Previous catering and food-preparation experience is required.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the dining area and moving furniture as needed.
• Assisting with preparation and cooking of meals.
• Serving meals and drinks to pupils.
• Clearing the dining area and putting furniture away after service.
• Cleaning equipment, kitchen and dining areas.
