Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Construction Teacher to join a secondary school in Leyton. Plan and deliver practical Construction lessons to secondary-aged students, ensuring safety and engagement in a workshop setting.

You will support pupils with construction skills, theory and industry knowledge, adapt lessons for diverse learning needs, and promote employability skills while maintaining a calm, organised classroom. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• QTS or teaching experience, or strong construction/trade experience.
• Experience teaching Construction, vocational subjects or practical skills is desirable.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in practical environments.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Calm, patient and organised approach.
• Ability to engage hands-on learners.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain an enhanced DBS update service.

Position: Construction Teacher

Location: Leyton

Pay: £180-£230 per day

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP / September start available

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
