Codsall Community High School, part of the South Staffordshire Learning Partnership, invites applications for a Cleaning Supervisor and Cleaner to join the Premises team.

The post is part-time, term-time only with stand-down hours, grade 3 spinal point 5, £26,427 pro rata, with Supervisor hours 15 hrs/week and Cleaner hours 10 hrs/week.

You will support cleaning operations, supervise staff, maintain hygiene standards, and work under the Site and Buildings Manager. Closing date 20 November 2026.

Formación

• Relevant experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
• Awareness of hygiene standards.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and direct staff to meet Partnership standards and specifications.
• Communicate instructions, policies and procedures to cleaning staff.
• Hold return to work discussions and manage hours claims monthly.
• Plan annual stand-down hours and attend SSLP meetings.
• Review training needs and deliver training sessions to staff.
• Ensure workload is distributed and maintain standards of cleanliness.
• Report faulty equipment and oversee stock and supplies.
• Dispose of waste safely and promote recycling in line with school ethos.
