Job summary

Bradgate Education Partnership is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join Broomfield Primary School in Leicester. The role is 10 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year), graded at Grade 2 with a salary of £5,504 (pay award pending).

Start ASAP, with applications closing 9am Friday 11th September 2026. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors, following health and safety procedures and reporting

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning in some capacity.
• COSHH knowledge is a plus.
• Flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties including wiping and sanitising tables and surfaces.
• Vacuuming classrooms and other areas of the school; cleaning toilet facilities.
• Replenishing consumables and maintaining hygiene throughout the premises.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help to create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
