Job summary

Amey is seeking a Permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Borders school account at Eyemouth High School, Gunsgreenhill, Eyemouth TD14 5LZ. The role is 20 hours per week with a shift pattern Mon-Thu 3:30pm-7:30pm and Fri 1:30pm-5:30pm.

You will provide a cleaning service to meet contractual requirements, manage stock and consumables, operate machinery safely, uphold H&S standards, and support zero carbon initiatives where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Highly organised, responsible, efficient with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and support others.
• Experience using chemicals and machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning service that meets contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and per guidelines.
• Ensure a high-quality service for building users at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain H&S standards across the contract.
• Support local and business zero carbon programmes where appropriate.
