Job summary

Tayside Contracts is seeking a School Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across school premises as designated by the Lead Cleaner and Facilities Assistant. You will work as part of a team or independently, with a basic knowledge of cleaning methods and awareness of customer care.

Desirable prior cleaning experience and ability to use machines such as polishers are noted, with opportunities to contribute to a high standards of public service in Tayside.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods.
• Awareness of customer care.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas within school premises as designated by Lead Cleaner/Facilities Assistant.
• Ensure areas such as toilets, dining and common areas are kept clean and hygienic.
• Work as part of a team or independently as required.
