The role involves cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and other areas to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a strong focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning and maintaining toilets and washroom facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning surfaces and high-touch areas
• Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are used safely
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
• Following school cleaning and health and safety procedures
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
