Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join a school cleaning team. You will maintain cleanliness of classrooms, corridors and facilities, following schedules and safety guidelines. Training provided.

The role requires punctuality, independence to manage daily tasks, and a strong focus on hygiene. Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, as on-site training will be supplied.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards.

• Understanding of workplace hygiene and health and safety.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, cubicles, floors and hand dryers.
• Hoover, sweep and mop floors throughout the school.
• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, offices and halls.
• Wipe desks, shelves, window sills and surfaces.
• Sanitise showers and indoor sports facilities.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Operate cleaning equipment including scrubber dryers.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete areas to a high standard.
