About Studley Infants' School

Studley Infants' School is a nurturing and vibrant setting for children aged 3 to 7. We’re passionate about providing the very best education in a way that’s fun, engaging, and full of joy. Our small but perfectly formed team is made up of dedicated staff — many of whom have been part of our school family for years — creating a strong sense of continuity and care.

Tucked away down a quiet drive, we’re one of Studley’s best kept secrets. But once you find us, we hope you’ll feel the warmth, welcome, and wonder that make our school so special.

Who we are looking for?

Are you someone who sees a glitter spill and thinks, “Challenge accepted”?

Do you believe that muddy footprints are just signs of a day well spent?

Can you spot a smudge from 20 feet and wipe it with ninja-like precision?

If so, we want YOU!

We’re looking for a positive, flexible, open-minded team player with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail to join our lovely school community. You’ll be helping us keep our learning spaces clean, safe, and welcoming — because our children deserve the best.

We’re big fans of messy play (think paint, glitter, mud pies, and the occasional mystery goo), so while we don’t expect miracles, we do expect a commitment to creating clean and calm spaces where children can thrive.

You will be responsible for:
  • Maintain cleanliness of a specific area of the school
  • Ensure all surfaces are hygienic and safe for children and staff.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Work flexibly around school activities and events.
  • Collaborate with other staff to keep the school environment welcoming and child-friendly.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and school policies.
  • Contributing to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
Your qualities will include:
  • Reliable and punctual – shows up on time and ready to go.
  • Positive attitude – brings good energy to the team and takes pride in their work.
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to respond to the changing needs of a busy school day.
  • Open-minded – understands the unique nature of a school environment
  • Team player – works well with others and supports the wider school community.
  • Professional and discreet – respects confidentiality and behaves appropriately around children.
  • Can-do mindset – tackles tasks with enthusiasm and initiative.
  • Eye for detail – notices the little things that make a big difference.
  • Sense of humour – essential for surviving messy play days and mystery spills!
  • Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer.

Studley Infants’ School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
