Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. You will ensure that all areas are clean, sanitary, and presentable, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include general cleaning, waste disposal, restroom disinfection, restocking supplies, and reporting safety hazards. Monday to Friday shifts 15:30–17:30, DBS enhanced preferred but can assist with DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Honest, dependable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, corridors, and common spaces.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper if required.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as required.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
