Job summary

Bishop Aldhelm’s CE Primary School & Nursery in Poole is hiring a part-time cleaner to join a dedicated team. The role involves maintaining the interior cleanliness of the school to a set standard under supervision and ensuring high hygiene levels across all areas.

You will work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start ASAP. We value patient, calm and approachable staff who are reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Reliable and punctual with a patient, calm manner.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Site Manager/Cleaner in Charge.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Role Summary

You will need to:

  • Work well as part of a team as well as independently and be able to use your initiative.
  • Have excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents.
  • Carry out the cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Site Manager/Cleaner in Charge.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the school premises.
