Connah’s Quay High School in Wales is seeking a reliable Cleaner (Grade G01) to join our team. You will help provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for learners, staff and visitors, carrying out cleaning duties across classrooms, offices and communal spaces.

The role is term-time only, 13 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Thursday 3.15pm–6.00pm and Friday 3.15pm–5.45pm. Salary is pro rata to reflect part-time arrangements and full-time equivalent values.

Qualificações

• Experience in cleaning in a school environment is desirable.
• Reliability and attention to detail are essential.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures.

You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties across designated areas of the school, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health and safety.This is a practical and important role requiring reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning surfaces and fixtures, emptying bins and ensuring that designated areas are maintained to the required standard.You will use cleaning materials, products and equipment safely, in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, COSHH regulations and relevant health and safety procedures. You will also follow agreed cleaning schedules, complete duties within allocated timescales and report any damage, defects or hazards identified during your work.We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, can follow instructions and contribute positively to a supportive and professional school environment. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as appropriate training will be provided. We offer:
