Job summary

St Edward's School in Edinburgh seeks an experienced Cleaner to join our facilities team. You will maintain cleanliness across pupil bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and toilets, as well as kitchen and laundry areas, using specialist equipment after appropriate training.

Previous experience in a school or similar environment is essential; the role runs term-time only with fixed-term contract from November 2026 to 31 August 2027, 8:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday during school terms.

Job Summary

St Edward's is seeking an experienced Cleaner to play a key role cleaning a range of school areas.

This will include cleaning pupil bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and toilets, kitchen and laundry areas. You will also use specialist cleaning equipment, such as steamers and carpet cleaners, following appropriate training and instructions.

Previous experience in a cleaning role is essential.

This is a temporary role from November 2026 until 31st August 2027. The working hours for this role are 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, during the School's term time only.
