Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a School Cleaner for Edinburgh Academy Junior School. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors, with training provided and a strong team atmosphere.

This 37-week term-time role offers Monday–Friday shifts, 4pm–8pm, with weekend work possible depending on business needs. The position pays £13.50 per hour and includes training and uniform.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to follow cleaning routines and safety procedures.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors and shared spaces to a high standard.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely with full training.

The Role
