Job Opportunity: Chef Manager at Chartwells

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef Manager to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Shift Pattern:
  • Mon-Fri: Full-time (Days)
  • Sat-Sun: Flexible

Please note: This role is contracted to 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food to delight clients and customers
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvement
  • Supporting and training teams, leading from the front
  • Delivering food concepts to customers
  • Managing food orders, stock control, and waste
  • Overseeing catering operations, inventories, and action plans
  • Managing budgets and financial targets
  • Ensuring Health & Safety standards compliance
Ideal Candidate:
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Passionate about food and customer service
  • Experience managing teams
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Motivated and eager to upskill
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Safety-conscious mindset
