Job summary

Prince Henry’s Grammar School is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to support the school’s in-house catering service. The role is hands-on, requiring strong communication and solid food safety knowledge, aligned with NJC Grade B3 Scale Points 7–11.

The position is permanent, 37.5 hours per week (6.30am–2.30pm), term time only plus 10 days, with a start expected October 2026. A DBS check and safeguarding checks will be part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a large, busy commercial kitchen environment
• A valid Food Hygiene certificate at Level 2 or above (or commitment to complete)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
