Job summary

Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley, UK, is seeking a Catering Supervisor to support its long-established in-house catering service, highly regarded by students and staff. This hands-on role requires strong communication, calmness under pressure, and solid food safety knowledge.

A valid Food Hygiene certificate (level 2 or above) is preferred, with experience in a busy kitchen. The post is a permanent, full-time appointment at 37.5 hours per week (6.30am – 2.30pm), term time only plus 10

Prince Henry’s Grammar School are looking to appoint a highly skilled Catering Supervisorto support the provision of our long-established in-house catering service,which is very well regarded by students, staff and visitors to the school.

The post of Catering Supervisor is a ‘hands on’ role whichrequires strong communication skills, the ability to stay calm under pressureas well as excellent knowledge and understanding of food safety and hygienepractices.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working in a large, busy commercialkitchen environment
• A valid Food Hygiene certificate at Level 2 or above(or commitment to complete)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
