You will plan menus, order food, and prepare a nutritious two-course lunch for pupils and staff, while maintaining hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards. The role requires organisational skills, independence and a flexible approach.

Experience in meal preparation and understanding of allergens is desirable. Training in food safety and safeguarding can be discussed with the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Plan, prepare, cook and serve a two-course lunch to a good standard and on time.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Keep accurate records and manage kitchen cleanliness.
