Job summary

Stirling Council seeks a Catering Supervisor for Strathyre Primary School in Callander. The role is 25 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am–2pm, during term time. Salary is £17,975–£18,925.

The post requires supervisory cooking experience and PVG clearance for children. A REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification is desirable, with Elementary Food Hygiene essential. Contract is temporary until 27 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory cooking and presentation experience.
• REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification desirable; Elementary Hygiene essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen activities and food production.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.
