Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Catering Supervisor for Strathyre Primary School in Scotland. The role requires supervisory experience in cooking and presenting food to high standards and compliance with food safety legislation. PVG check is required before appointment.

Flexible working arrangements are possible where the role allows, with a mix of school-site presence and home-based tasks. The successful candidate will manage kitchen activities, support school meals, and uphold service standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory cooking experience.
• REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable; Elementary Food Hygiene essential.
• To be responsible for all activities in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen activities related to food production.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety legislation and service standards.
• Maintain high quality in food preparation and presentation to customers.
