Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting School Catering Staff for a range of school-based roles across various locations. Roles include General Catering Assistants, Kitchen Assistants, Chefs and Catering Supervisors, suited to experienced kitchen team members and those building catering careers in education.

Ideal candidates will bring catering experience, understand school environments, and be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

School Catering Staff Required

We are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic individuals for a range of school-based catering positions, including:

• General Catering Assistants
• Kitchen Assistants
• Chefs
• Catering Supervisors

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Have previous catering experience (hospitality backgrounds will also be considered)
• Have experience working within a school or education setting
• Be able to hit the ground running with minimal training and supervision
• Be reliable, flexible, and proactive in a busy kitchen environment
• Be happy to support with a variety of duties, including food preparation, serving, cleaning, washing up, and maintaining high hygiene standards
• Work well as part of a team and have a positive, can-do attitude

Additional Support

Don't currently hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification? No problem. We offer free Food Hygiene Level 2 training to successful applicants who require this certification.
