Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager for Churchfield Primary School in Cudworth, Barnsley. The role is full-time, term-time only, Monday to Friday, with a fixed hourly rate and responsibility for on-site operations.

You will lead kitchen activities, ensure health and safety compliance, manage inventories and budgets, and act as the main client contact to deliver high-quality meals and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering or hospitality is desirable.
• Ability to manage budgets and inventories.
• Strong food safety and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance at the location.
• Lead and supervise site teams; manage inventories and budgets.
• Be the main client contact; drive improvements and actions.
• Regularly review KPIs and financial targets with your line manager.
• Provide training and develop team performance.
