Compass Group UK&I and Chartwells are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all catering and service operations for a school portfolio on a full-time basis.

You will supervise kitchens and service counters, drive exceptional food experiences, manage inventories and budgets, and lead teams to deliver outstanding customer service across 46 weeks per year.

Formación

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 required.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Demonstrate strong financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Overseeing in‑unit catering operations, including inventories, budgets, and action plans.
• Communicating KPI progress and targets to line manager.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams, leading from the front.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across teams.
