Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Coop Manchester North Academy. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday and 38 weeks per year.

You will cook, present and serve nutritionally balanced meals, adhering to Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and completing required paperwork. You'll support your line manager with daily operations, including inventories and budget monitoring, and contribute to maintaining Caterlink's high standards and

• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and complete paperwork accurately.
• Support line manager with day-to-day running including inventories and budgets.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
