Aspens Services, a market-leading contract caterer for schools, is hiring a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen with basic food preparation and friendly service during lunchtimes.

You’ll work term-time, Monday to Friday, 12.71 per hour, with training provided and DBS disclosure arranged. Join a fast-growing team committed to safe, high-quality meals for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to work in a busy school kitchen.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service helpful.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers at the till during lunchtimes.
• Delivering friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assisting with basic food preparation.
• Keeping the kitchen safe, clean and compliant with health and safety.
