Barking Abbey School is seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join a team delivering outstanding catering across Barking Abbey and Eastbrook School. The role is permanent and part-time (20–35 hours per week) with shifts starting between 07:30 and 10:00.

You will contribute to providing tasty meals and maintain high kitchen standards for students and staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, be flexible for occasional events, and commit to safe food handling and hygiene

Formación

• Experience in catering is desirable.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene best practices.
• Ability to work in a busy school catering environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for students and staff.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of machinery and equipment at all times.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and storage.
• Represent the school and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
