Abbeygate Sixth Form College in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a General Catering Assistant to support the Head Chef and Supervisor in delivering a welcoming, efficient catering service.

You will prepare and serve food, keep catering areas clean and well-stocked, and help ensure a positive experience for students, staff and visitors. A Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable, with training provided if needed.

• Food safety knowledge and good customer service are essential.
• Previous catering experience is desirable, especially in education settings.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head Chef and Supervisor in delivering a welcoming, efficient and high-quality catering service.
• Prepare and serve food and maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked catering areas.
• Ensure students, staff and visitors have a positive experience every day.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to day-to-day catering operations.
