South Lanarkshire Council is hiring a Facilities Assistant (Catering) at Calderglen High School in East Kilbride. The role involves preparing meals following recipe guidelines and performing all hygiene practices for storage, preparation, cooking and service, including cleaning of production areas and equipment.

The post is on a term-time basis, 27 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.80. Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate commitment to equality and compliance with PVG

Formación

• Experience in catering and food hygiene is desirable.
• Ability to follow recipe guidelines and meet hygiene standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals within recipe guidelines and maintain hygiene across storage, preparation, cooking and service areas.
• Clean food production areas, equipment and utensils and ensure compliance with food safety practices.
