Sodexo Group at St Benedict's Catholic High School in Alcester is seeking a Catering Assistant to support food preparation, service and cleaning across two nearby schools. The role requires a full UK driving licence and involves travel between sites, with hours 12.5 per week during term time.

You’ll work as part of a friendly catering team, maintain high hygiene standards, and provide a dependable service to pupils and staff. The position offers flexible hours and full training.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Positive and reliable attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between school sites.
• Catering or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of food and beverages at two school sites.
• Drive a Sodexo van between St Benedict's and St Mary's Catholic Primary School.
• Support food service and washing up, and keep kitchen and dining areas clean.
• Transport food and catering supplies between sites and replenish displays.
• Follow hygiene, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to pupils and staff, and work flexibly across sites.
