Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Catering) at Stonelaw High School, Rutherglen, on a 20-hour-per-week term-time basis. The role involves preparing meals in line with recipes, carrying out hygiene practices in storage, preparation, cooking and service of food, and cleaning of production areas and equipment.

The post is temporary, with a scheduled shift pattern Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, and a starting hourly rate of £13.80.

• Preparing meals within recipe guidelines.
• Carrying out hygiene practices in relation to storage, preparation, cooking and service of food.
• Cleaning of food production areas, equipment and utensils.
