Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Catering) at Stonelaw High School, 140 Calderwood Road, Rutherglen. The role covers meal preparation within recipe guidelines, hygiene practices, and cleaning of production areas and equipment. It is a 20-hours-per-week term-time post, with a 10am-2pm pattern, at an hourly rate of £13.80.

The post is temporary and includes safeguarding requirements and PVG checks as part of the Council’s recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals within recipe guidelines and undertaking all hygiene work practices in relation to the storage, preparation, cooking and service of food including the cleaning of food production areas, equipment and utensils.
