Job summary

Provide Education & Teachers UK in Retford is seeking enthusiastic Catering Assistants to work in schools on a temporary ongoing basis. Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply is required.

Typical hours are 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Duties include food preparation, serving, hygiene, and assisting with deliveries in school settings. Pension and on-site parking are benefits.

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
• Wash up dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring that all items are cleaned and stored properly.
• Assist with checking and storing food deliveries.
• Follow school policies and procedures regarding food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness.
