A Warrington primary school is looking for an experienced and dependable Caretaker to join their premises team. This is an important role within the school, ensuring the building, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard and remain safe and suitable for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a range of practical duties throughout the school day, including general maintenance, basic repairs, furniture and classroom setup, health and safety checks and maintaining the external areas of the site. The role may also involve liaising with contractors and reporting any larger maintenance issues to the appropriate member of the school team.
Previous experience working within a school, commercial premises, facilities or maintenance environment would be advantageous. The school is looking for someone who is practical, organised and able to use their initiative when dealing with day-to-day issues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
