Job summary

Flourish Education in Rugby is recruiting a Caretaker / Site Manager to join a local school on a long-term basis, starting after October half term. The role focuses on maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe, secure and well-presented site for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will work regular hours across mornings and afternoons, with flexibility discussed at interview. Prior caretaker or premises experience and a solid health and safety understanding are essential to succeed in this

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caretaker or site management.
• Practical maintenance skills for minor repairs.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure school premises at required times.
• Carry out general site maintenance and minor repairs.

• Follow procedures for site security and safeguarding.
• Respond to day-to-day site issues to keep the school running smoothly.
