Job summary

Proman is recruiting two School Caretakers with Enhanced DBS for a school site. The roles are 37.5 hours per week on a temporary contract, with shifts split between early and late patterns. The duties include opening/locking, general maintenance, fire alarm testing, security patrols, porterage, and contractor liaison.

Candidates should have good communication and customer service skills, be flexible with shifts, and wear PPE as required. Immediate start is available and DBS is essential.

Proman UK is looking for 2 Caretakers to join the team at a School site. This is a hands-on role covering site security, maintenance, porterage, and general facilities support.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
• Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00
• Occasional weekend work required

Key Duties:

• Opening and locking the school
• General building maintenance and minor repairs
• Fire alarm testing and routine site checks
• Site security patrols
• Porterage and room set-ups
• Managing contractors and visitor sign-ins
• Responding to day-to-day school requests
