Job summary

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking a hands-on Caretaker to support Beaulieu Park School in Chelmsford. You will perform caretaking, maintenance and site support to keep classrooms, corridors and facilities safe and welcoming for students and staff.

Responsibilities include health and safety inspections, opening/closing buildings, basic repairs, and helping prepare spaces for lessons and events. Experience in caretaking or facilities is essential; a proactive, collaborative approach

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance or facilities essential.
• Hands-on, practical and adaptable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day caretaking duties, maintenance and site support
• Undertake health & safety checks, inspections and security routines
• Support opening and closing of buildings and site security
• Complete basic repairs, maintenance and site upkeep
• Prepare rooms and spaces for lessons, events and lettings
• Assist with deliveries, furniture movement and site organisation
• Respond to alarms, emergencies and site issues when required
