Vertas is seeking a reliable school caretaker for St Swithuns C of E Primary Academy in Retford. The role is 3:30pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 12.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, focusing on maintaining facilities and safety.

You will perform day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, checks of heating/lighting/alarm systems, health and safety record-keeping, stock monitoring, and ensure premises are opened and secured. DBS checks apply.

Mansioni

• Carrying out day to day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carrying out and recording basic checks and maintaining Health and Safety records.
• Monitoring site stocks and undertaking cleaning duties.
• Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and having a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety, all training will be provided.
• Opening and securing the premises as required.
