Supply Hive Wales is seeking a reliable and practical individual to join a new SEN school in Cardiff as a Caretaker. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for pupils and staff while supporting daily site operations.

Key responsibilities include securing the site, basic maintenance, health and safety checks, room setup, and keeping buildings and outdoor spaces well-presented. Prior caretaking or facilities experience would be beneficial.

• Setting up rooms, moving furniture and preparing spaces for activities and meetings.
• Maintaining outdoor areas, pathways and school grounds.

Caretaker Wanted – New SEN School | Cardiff

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on and practical individual who would be interested in taking on a Caretaker role at a new Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Cardiff.

This is a great opportunity to join a new school and play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained environment for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school, including locking doors, gates and setting alarms.
• Carrying out general maintenance, minor repairs and reporting any larger issues.
• Keeping the school buildings, communal areas and outdoor spaces clean, tidy and presentable.
