Job summary

Integra People Limited is recruiting a School Caretaker to work at a school in the Prestbury area. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 12pm, with responsibilities to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming school environment and to support day-to-day school operations.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual and hands-on, with the ability to work independently. DBS check and safeguarding checks are required for this position.

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance or facilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, corridors and communal areas tidy and presentable.
• Report maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Support the school with general caretaking duties.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained.
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs where required.
• Opening and closing the school premises as needed.
• Ensuring classrooms, corridors and communal areas are tidy and presentable.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Supporting the school with general caretaking duties as required.

The ideal candidate will:
