Job summary

Integra Resourcing is seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a school in Harpenden AL5. This part-time role supports day-to-day running and creates a safe, clean, welcoming environment for staff and pupils.

Key duties include keeping premises safe and well maintained, carrying out minor repairs, opening and closing, tidying classrooms and corridors, reporting issues, and assisting with general caretaking tasks.

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs where required.

• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Supporting the school with general caretaking duties as required.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am-9am and 3pm-6pm

• Have good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ideally have previous caretaking, maintenance or facilities experience.

As this role is based within a school, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the relevant pre-employment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check, as applicable.
