Job summary

Stretford High School is looking for a Catering Assistant to provide a healthy canteen service for students. You will be a fast, reliable all-rounder working as part of a team to support daily kitchen tasks and serving duties.

The role is part-time (2 hours per day, 12:30–2:30pm, Monday–Friday, term time only) starting 3 November 2026. Excellent communication with pupils and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Conscientious and reliable catering staff are required.
• Fast worker with ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for a pupil-facing role.

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties and food preparation.
• Serving food and assisting in canteen operations.
• Cleaning and washing up to maintain hygiene standards.
