Job summary

Stretford High School in Manchester is seeking a Catering Assistant for a part-time role in the school canteen. The post is 2 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 2:30pm, during term time. You will work as part of a team to support a healthy canteen service for students and must be reliable and conscientious.

Candidates should be able to work quickly in a busy kitchen, assist with food preparation, serving, cleaning and washing up, and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.

We are looking to appoint conscientious and reliable Catering Assistants to help us to provide a healthy canteen service to our students.

You will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of general kitchen duties, food preparation, serving food, cleaning and washing up.

This is a pupil facing position, so you will also need good communication skills.

Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, from 10.30 am to 2.30pm - term time only.
