Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a permanent Breakfast Catering Assistant for Ysgol Plas Coch in Wales. The role is 5 hours per week during term time (38 weeks) and involves setting up the hall, serving breakfast to pupils and supervising activities.

Responsibilities include kitchen duties, cleaning, tidying resources and supporting the Head Chef as needed. An Enhanced DBS is required; applicants must be able to work bilingually in English and Welsh.

Responsibilities

• Set up the hall and tables for breakfast and organise resources for children to play with.
• General kitchen duties, e.g. cleaning tables and tidying dishes.
• Supervise children while they eat their breakfast and assist them in activities.
• Tidy up resources and ensure cupboards are tidy.
• Any duties commensurate with the nature and scale of the job, as directed by the Head Chef.
